I have seen many videos of fencers and coaches showing different exercises, lessons and target work. There is a lot of information on the internet however, I want to remind everyone that there is one main problem at the moment:
Planning.
Every successful fencer of any age, especially the experienced, are working on long term training programs.
These programs don’t exist anymore.
Everything has disappeared in just a couple of weeks. We must react quickly, start thinking about keeping our fencers active and planning carefully for next season.
Together with our club coaches, we are starting online lessons to help everyone practice fencing alone and in the right way.
At Dream Fencing Club branches and schools in the London area, we are coaching over 250 young fencers per week, with members from 5 to 18 years old therefore, we will split our online lessons into 3 main age groups;
6-10, 11-14 and 15-18.
Our online platforms will include different options for each age group:
Videos, theory and different tasks, with long term training programs focusing on overall body development, special fencing exercises and fun and games.
All this is very carefully selected according the age and experience of our fencers.
Our services will be free of charge for all of our club members.
